          After an eight-year absence, the A-Leagues All Stars will be back in 2022. 

          It was confirmed in April that some of the best players from the A-League Men this season will take on La Liga giants Barcelona at Accor Stadium on May 25. 

          With the backing of event promoter TEG Sport, the game will attract a huge crowd and provide a great platform for local talent to test themselves.

          Who will play for the A-Leagues All Stars against Barcelona?

          A 30-man A-Leagues All Stars squad was confirmed on May 20. 

          Fans voted for the first 13 players with coach Dwight Yorke picking the next 15 and A-Leagues Commissioner Greg O’Rourke selecting the final two.

          Every side in the A-League Men has at least one player in the team.

          Players from clubs that reach the A-League Men grand final will be unable to take part in the match with seven names now ruled out after Western United and Melbourne City both progressed. 

          Nestroy Irankunda is the youngest member of the All Stars team at just 16, while Central Coast Mariners young gun Garang Kuol is also only 17.

          As the name suggests, some big-name players have represented the A-Leagues All Stars in years gone by.

          Who will coach the A-Leagues All Stars against Barcelona?

          Former Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke was confirmed as A-Leagues All Stars coach on April 27. 

          Yorke was recently confirmed as Macarthur FC's new coach and will take charge of the NSW club for the 2022-23 season. 

          The 50-year-old has never coached a team before with the All Stars fixture to mark his debut in the dugout. 

          A-League All Stars vs Manchester United result and highlights 

          The first match for the A-League All Stars took place on July 20, 2013 with 83,127 fans turning up at ANZ Stadium to watch them take on Manchester United. 

          David Moyes, who had recently been named as the new Red Devils coach, named a strong starting side that included Rio Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs and Jesse Lingard. 

          They would prove too strong for the A-League All Stars and walked away with a 5-1 win after braces from Lingard and Danny Welbeck.

          Besart Berisha scored the first ever goal for the A-League All Stars in the 51st minute. 

          A-League All Stars vs Juventus result and highlights

          Just over a year after their heavy defeat to Man Utd, the A-League All Stars welcomed Juventus to Sydney this time around. 

          A smaller crowd of 55,364 saw the local side twice go ahead only for the Serie A giants to bag a late brace and win the match 3-2. 

          Juventus started the game with the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Gianluigi Buffon, Paul Pogba and Carlos Tevez on the field. 

          The A-League All Stars held their own though, ending the match with more possession and scoring goals via Marcelo Carrusca and Tomi Juric
